NSEL director Robert Makgill is a Research Fellow with the Lincoln University Faculty of Environment, Society and Design. The Faculty draws on a range of disciplines that combine scholarly understanding, critique, creativity and problem solving. Research within the Faculty is grouped into seven themes including: regenerative landscapes; energy and society; natural resource management; fisheries and aquaculture; recreation; and tourism and business.

NZ LAW
North South Environmental Law is a member of NZ LAW Limited, which is an association of independent legal practices with member firms located throughout New Zealand. There are 62 member firms practising in over 70 locations. NZ LAW member firms have agreed to co-operate together to develop a national working relationship. Membership enables firms to access one another's skills, information and ideas whilst maintaining client confidentiality.
